The ºÚÁÏÃÅUniversity Chicago community mourns the death of Diane Hullinger, senior associate registrar of records and technology.
In May 2019, Diane was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a malignant brain tumor that manifests differently in each patient. Despite treatment efforts, the cancer was too aggressive and Diane lost her fight on Sunday, August 4.
Diane was a member of the ºÚÁÏÃÅcommunity for over 25 years. She was initially hired by Information Technology Services, where she served as a data administration manager before joining Registration and Records to support the implementation of LOCUS. Her work impacted many areas including class scheduling, classroom assignment, graduation, and the course catalog.
Throughout her years of service, Diane was immensely dedicated to her work at Loyola. She enjoyed coming to work every day and collaborating with colleagues across campus. She was proud to say that both her son and daughter are ºÚÁÏÃÅalumni. Diane’s good-nature, helpfulness, intellect, dedication, and kind demeanor touched many throughout the University. She will be extremely missed.
