Crime Alert - Hate-Speech Graffiti in Spring Hill Hall

Campus Safety is writing to notify you about a report involving hate-speech graffiti that was left near the door of a student鈥檚 room in Spring Hill Hall on the Lake Shore Campus. The graffiti was written sometime overnight between February 4 and 5.
At this time, we are asking anyone with information related to the incident to contact Campus Safety at 773.508.SAFE or to share details via the University鈥檚 EthicsLine Reporting Hotline. Reports can be filed anonymously and at 855.603.6988.
黑料门does not tolerate hate in any form or any manner on its campuses, and Campus Safety takes all reports of hate crimes seriously. Reports are thoroughly investigated, and we work with anyone who files a report to also contact the Chicago Police Department. For the legal definition of a hate crime, please visit our .
If you feel that you have been the target of a hate crime, whether on- or off-campus, please notify Campus Safety or contact the immediately. As is the case with all crimes reported to our department, confidentiality is always respected.
