Transferring From Another School? Here’s Help.
Thinking about leaving your current school for ºÚÁÏÃÅUniversity Chicago? Plenty of students do so, and are thrilled they made the decision. ºÚÁÏÃÅhas a very welcoming community. We suspect you’ll adjust quite easily.
Of course, there are some rules you need to know about transfering from another college to Loyola’s School of Communication.
All transfer students must complete a minimum of 70% of all communication courses at ºÚÁÏÃÅUniversity Chicago.
This typically means that you can transfer credit for four courses towards your major.
However, this is something we decide on a case-by-case basis. The decision is at the discretion of the School of Communication.
Transfer credit is articulated at the time of a student's matriculation to ºÚÁÏÃÅUniversity Chicago with what curricular policies were in place at that time.
The School of Communication reserves the right to not re-articulate transfer credit once a student has matriculated.
Students who intend to transfer to ºÚÁÏÃÅare strongly urged to visit or call the School of Communication for assistance in planning their college work at ºÚÁÏÃÅUniversity.
