Visiting and Non-Degree

Take ºÚÁÏÃÅclasses without making the commitment

If you are a visiting student, you can take classes at ºÚÁÏÃÅthat count toward degree requirements at another college or university. Or as non-degree-seeking student, you can take classes at ºÚÁÏÃÅwithout the intention of pursuing a degree.

For students interested in studying at the John Felice Rome Center, the process is a little different.   

Visiting and non-degree-seeking students must submit a for every semester they plan to enroll.

Priority Application Deadlines:

July 1 for the Fall Semester (August start)
November 1 for the Spring Semester (January start)

January Term

 allows students to earn credit in an intensive, two-week session. J-Term begins in late December and ends in early January. Check for .

International students

If your native language is not English or if your primary language of instruction has not been English, you may be required to take the TOEFL or IELTS language tests. The minimum score for TOEFL is 79 (iBT), and the minimum score for IELTS is 6.5.

If you are an F-1 or J-1 student, please complete the Declaration and Certification of Finances form‌‌ and submit it with proof of financial resources showing your ability to cover expenses during your time at Loyola.
